Statement of Faith
We believe we are called to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves.
Matthew 22:37-40; Mark 12:30-31; Luke 10:27; Deuteronomy 6:5-6 We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come again to judge the quick and the dead, whose kingdom shall have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, one holy church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and that it is inerrant as originally given, authoritative and sufficient for life. 2 Timothy 3:16 We believe that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and that it is only through God's grace and the death and resurrection of His son Jesus Christ that we are saved. Romans 3:21-26 We believe in the Great Commission; to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to those both near and far. Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8 We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone and not by works, that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. 1 Corinthians 12; Galatians 5:16 We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. John 17:20-23 |

Paula James; Teacher
Paula was born and raised in a small town in Arkansas. She attended public school until the 6th grade. It was at this time where she began attending a little Christian school, along with her three siblings. It was through her education at the Christian school where she began to grow and succeed in her classwork. She says, "It gave me a love for learning and reading that I didn’t have previously."
After college, she and her husband decided to settle down in Buffalo, WY in 2002 where they had two daughters. Paula started homeschooling their two girls in the Abeka program, and after three years of homeschooling, was contacted by another homeschool parent who wanted to start a school in Buffalo. She started teaching at Buffalo Christian Academy in 2013 and has been there ever since. "Christian Education is important to me because I believe God wants students to be, not only educated academically, but to be taught from a Biblical perspective. At Buffalo Christian Academy, students learn in an environment where they are safe, loved, and taught the Word of God without compromise. I love Buffalo Christian Academy because we know each student is a unique person made in the image of God and we do all we can to teach and train them in a way that honors Him."
